I have not yet decided how exactly to do thus.. i think after this i will include mechanics either inline inside the post or as footnotes. A part of me prefers footnotes or a separate post like this one to not disturb narrative flow. 

For the opening small scene the game mechanic at play comes from two things. CZ the droid is a chosen asset of companion droid.

And the derelict ship come from rolling a 44 on the envision starship table straight from the starforged rules. that result says ships navigation logs contain locations that ‘ do not exist’.  

So i fit that to the explorer theme and we start in media res looking at the hull of a derelict that apparently they found thru this discovered navigation log file.
